Brown is a premium route runner with good hands and run-after-catch ability. These traits make him capable of being a high-end slot receiver with the upside to play on the outside. Brown’s biggest weaknesses are his speed and ability to catch 50-50 balls down the field. He only ran a 4.49 40 yard dash, which proves that he is not a burner. This, combined with his lack of ability to catch 50-50 balls, make him unlikely to be a downfield threat in the NFL. Overall, Brown will be capable of succeeding in the slot on short and intermediate passes, but he isn’t likely to be a downfield threat in the NFL.
