Epenesa uses a lot of different pass rush moves in order to get past defenders which makes him very diverse and unpredictable. He has great hands and is very good at bull rushing. Epenesa has the ability to outrun lineman and get to the quarterback as well. He has the strength to be good against the run but has room for improvement, as he needs to shed his blocks a little bit faster. Epenesa has some problems with his technique, and with the proper coaching he can fix those and become very productive. Overall, Epenesa has all the tools he needs to be successful in the NFL but will need some work on his technique before becoming a good if not great player.
