McCoy has a very high football I.Q., making him likely to be successful as a rookie and better suited to be a center than a guard because the center is the quarterback of the offensive line. He is solid in his technique and is a decent athlete, so he might not have All-Pro upside but is fully capable of being a good starter. McCoy’s biggest weakness is his strength, which could be a big limitation on the next level because he could be beaten by powerful defensive linemen. Luckily, strength is something that can be improved with the proper conditioning so McCoy can fix his biggest weakness with hard work. Overall, McCoy has the ability to become a good starter due to his high football I.Q. and solid technique, but only if he can improve his strength.
