Delpit is an aggressive, physical safety who will be great playing in the box. He disappointed last year after making a name for himself the year before, and if he can return to form he will be a good player. Delpit has good instincts and eyes that help him in coverage, where he specializes in covering tight ends because of his physicality. He is always willing to help out against the run and his physicality allows him to do so but he has some tackling inconsistencies, but those are correctable. Delpit has potential to be very good in coverage but needs good coaching in order to reach it. Overall, Delpit is a physical safety capable of doing a variety of things but will need to work on some aspects of his game before becoming a high quality starter like he is capable of doing.
