Sternberger’s value comes purley from the passing game. He doesn’t have the size or strength to be a blocker in the NFL, so he will likely operate as a move tight end with the potential to play in the slot. He is very athletic with above average ball skills, catch radius, and route running. On top of that he is solid after the catch. Overall, Sternberger is an athletic tight end with the potential to be a good receiving tight end but will not be able to block on the next level.
