Jalen Hurts is a phenomenal runner with good speed and great strength. He has demonstrated some good accuracy but was very inconsistent when throwing in college. He has good feet and a quick release and at times showed solid touch on the ball, so he has potential to become a solid passer. Hurts really needs to improve his anticipation and vision if he is going to be a starter, otherwise he will likely just end up being a backup with value as a gadget player similar to Taysom Hill because of his athleticism. Overall, Jalen Hurts's running ability makes him a potential starter in today's NFL, but if he can’t improve his passing he will likely be stuck in a Taysom Hill-esque role.
