Kinlaw is a freak athlete with the prototypical body type of a defensive tackle but was inconsistent throughout college. He at times was able to use his size, strength, and athleticism to completely overwhelm blockers but at other times he lacked good body control and balance. Kinlaw has an incredible first step that enables him to get a head start of blockers and makes him very effective when he keeps his balance. Overall, Kinlaw's athleticism and physical traits give him All-Pro potential but he will need to improve his balance and body control in order to reach that potential.
