Mekhi Becton
OT, Louisville
Draft Projection: Top-15
NFL Comparison: Bryant McKinnie
Becton is massive, coming in at 6' 7'' 364 lbs. He is incredibly athletic and therefore can play either right or left tackle. Becton has incredibly quick feet and is obviously very powerful considering his size, giving him the potential of becoming one of the best tackles in the game. He is great in both the run and pass games. Becton struggles with patience at times, particularly against the run, but that can be corrected. Becton's major problem is his weight because if he gets much heavier he will lose his quickness and athleticism, making him pretty risky. That can be avoided with the proper training, however, so as long as a team is comfortable with its training staff and beliefs Becton can keep his weight under control they should feel comfortable taking him. Overall, Becton's weight may end up causing problems, but his combination of athleticism, technique, and correctable weaknesses give him massive upside.
