Adam Thielen
WR, Vikings
Adam Thielen was great last year, especially during the first half of the season when he recorded eight straight games with 100+ yards. After that, Thielen regressed, posting 39 catches for 448 yards and three touchdowns. Over the course of a season that would only be 78 catches for 896 yards and six touchdowns. One of the main reasons Thielen's numbers regressed was the fact that Dalvin Cook had returned from a hamstring injury and the Vikings started to run the ball more. That trend will continue this year, as Cook is expected to be the focal point of the Vikings offense. This makes Thielen relatively risky because he might end up with numbers similar to those he had in the second half of last year. At the same time, Thielen could still end up with numbers similar to the first half of the year because defenses will start to focus on stopping the run. He will likely finish in between with numbers similar to those he got in 2017 (but more touchdowns), which would make him a very good fantasy receiver.
