Before injuring his shoulder, Cam Newton was having one of the best seasons of his career. Now that he has had an entire offseason to heal, Newton's shoulder is hopefully better. Nobody really knows how much better it is, but he will be playing this season. If Newton is healthy, he has top-3 upside because of his rushing ability. If you are willing to take a chance on a quarterback, Newton makes sense, but the shoulder makes him risky. Since Newton's value comes from running the ball, he shouldn't be drafted as high in 6-point passing touchdown leagues.
