Deshaun Watson

QB, Texans

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Deshaun Watson has been an elite fantasy quarterback for his entire career, but now that DeAndre Hopkins is gone his productivity will go down. We have no way of knowing what Watson will look like this season, so he comes with some risk. The Texans still have a good receiving core in Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller, Kenny Stills, Keke Coutee, and both David Johnson and Duke Johnson coming out of the backfield so Watson will by no means be a bad option. This is an incredibly fast team that could end up looking similar to the Chiefs offense. He should still have 3,750+ passing yards and around 25 passing touchdowns. In addition, expect Watson to run more often now that Hopkins is gone, which is a very good thing. He should see more than 500 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns this season. Overall, Deshaun Watson might not be the elite fantasy quarterback he was with DeAndre Hopkins but he will still be a very good starter and should be drafted in the seventh round.

Analytics-Based Projected Points: 281.6
