Jared Goff

QB, Rams

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Jared Goff had a very good season last year, and now Cooper Kupp is back from a torn ACL, so expect Goff's numbers to go up. In the eight games Kupp played last year Goff had 2,637 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six interceptions compared to 2,051 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six interceptions in the eight games Kupp didn't play in. This means Goff was on pace for 5,274 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions over the course of the season. Those would be elite numbers for a fantasy quarterback and Goff would have led the NFL in passing yards. On top of that, the Rams are trying to limit Todd Gurley's workload so they will be passing the ball more. This will give Goff more upside and give him the chance to become a top-3 fantasy quarterback. Gurley's limited workload will definitely result in more touchdowns for Goff because a large portion of Gurley's touches are in the red zone, and touchdowns have previously been Goff's biggest weakness. Overall, Goff has top-3 upside with Cooper Kupp returning and Todd Gurley's limited workload.
