Joe Mixon

RB, Bengals

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Joe Mixon is a true workhorse, and that is a rare thing to find in today's NFL. He is also tremendously talented, making his ceiling incredibly high. Mixon would have 1,600 total yards and 10 touchdowns last year had he played in all 16 games. A.J. Green is going to miss some time, so the Bengals offense is going to run through Joe Mixon, which could increase his workload and touchdowns. The concern with Mixon is his offensive line. Things appeared to be getting better when the Bengals drafted Jonah Williams, but he got injured and is now out for the season. Despite the bad offensive line play, Mixon still averaged 4.9 yards a carry last year, so with an increased workload, Mixon could have a legitimate chance at 2,000 total yards. The Bengals haven't been using Mixon's receiving talents, but with A.J. Green out, they will need another option, and Mixon can be just that. Overall, Mixon is a safe bet at 1,500 total yards and an increased workload gives him a chance at 2,000, so he is a fantastic second-round pick.
