Le’Veon Bell

RB, Jets

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Le’Veon Bell was horribly inefficient last year but had 311 touches in 15 games. There isn’t reason to expect Bell to be much more efficient next year. He’s a year older with an additional 311 touches on him. The wear and tear has obviously gotten to Bell because he is not the player he once was. The Jets still have a bad offense, though they did draft Mekhi Becton in the first round to improve their offensive line. Le’Veon Bell doesn’t have very high upside because his efficiency won’t go up, but he is a pretty safe pick if you can get him in the fourth or fifth round. You know that you’re going to get a lot of touches with Bell, though his inefficiency last year will likely cause his touch count to go down a bit, and around 1,100 yards from scrimmage along with 50+ catches. Bell could see a few more touchdowns as well, but he isn’t going to be an RB1. If you need someone late in the draft and don’t want to take a flier on upside, go with Bell, but don’t expect him to start producing like he did back when he was a Steeler.
