Leonard Fournette

RB, Jaguars

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Fournette hasn't been great in his first two seasons, averaging 3.7 yards per carry and missing 11 games. He is a major injury risk, as Dr. Jesse Morse (a real doctor) gives him a 9/10 injury rating, meaning he has a 90% chance of getting injured this season. This doesn't necessarily mean he misses a ton of time, but he will likely miss at least one game next year if not more. Even taking this into consideration, his upside is simply too high to let him slip past the fourth round. He has the talent to be the best running back in the entire NFL, and the offense will improve with the addition of Nick Foles. A Super Bowl MVP is going to move the ball much better than Blake Bortles. The Jaguars let T.J. Yeldon go and didn't get a replacement, meaning the backfield is entirely Fournette's. The offense will run through him, so he could get 320+ touches next year. Again, all this is assuming he stays healthy which is highly unlikely. Overall, if Fourenette can stay healthy he has the upside of the top back in fantasy and a high floor because he will get a ton of touches, but his health is more concerning than any other player being drafted as a starter (including Todd Gurley), and that's really saying something.
