Rashaad Penny

RB, Seahawks

The Seahawks drafted Penny in the first round last year, so they aren't going to let him just sit on the bench for his entire career. Chris Carson is still in Seattle, but Penny should still be able to produce for two reasons. The first is that Penny is clearly the better receiver out of the two, so he will be getting work. If he impresses as a receiver like many expect him to, he could end up overtaking Carson. The second reason is that the Seahawks run the ball a ton, as they led the league in rushes last year, and they should run the ball even more because they lost Doug Baldwin and won't be able to run the ball as much. Carson can't possibly handle that entire workload, so Penny will get some of the work. If Penny is getting all of the receiving work and a large portion of the running work he could still get 15-20 touches a game, and if he performs better than Carson (which he should because he looked better last year and was great in college) he should be able to get most of the work. Penny would then be getting a workhorse workload in a good offense. Penny obviously comes with some risk because he isn't the clear starter, but he has top-5 upside so he is worth drafting in the seventh round.
