Sammy Watkins

WR, Chiefs

Watkins has been a disappointment so far in his career, and he failed to live up to expectations last year in Kansas City. Now, however, Watkins is going to be more familiar with a complex Chiefs offense after playing in Kansas City for a year, and he has the talent to become an elite wide receiver. Watkins is still the third option for the Chiefs behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, but the offense is so good that there is room for everybody, especially now that Kareem Hunt is gone and the Chiefs will be passing the ball more. Watkins was still solid last year, recording 50 catches for 695 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games (including playoffs), which ends up becoming 67 catches for 927 yards and four touchdowns over the course of an entire season. This means that even if Watkins doesn't improve he will still be a decent option. Watkins has been an injury concern for his entire career, and Dr. Jesse Morse gives him a 7/10 injury rating (70% chance of getting injured this year) so he may miss a few games and possibly more. Overall, Watkins's tremendous talent combined with the fact that he is in an elite offense and is now going to be comfortable after spending a year with the Chiefs gives him top-10 upside, and he has a solid floor if he doesn't get injured.
