Stefon Diggs

WR, Bills

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Stefon Diggs is an elite talent, but he likely won’t be as productive with the Bills as he was with the Vikings. First of all, history shows that receivers switching to a new team typically do worse in their first year with the team because they need to learn a new offense and build chemistry with a new quarterback. It will be especially hard for Diggs to do that with limited offseason programs. In addition, Josh Allen is very inaccurate and will miss a lot of throws to Diggs. He is a massive downgrade from Kirk Cousins in terms of his throwing ability. The Bills are a run-first team and they still have John Brown and Cole Beasly, both of whom had over 100 targets last year, so Diggs won’t see a massive increase in volume. There is no reason to expect Stefon Diggs to be as productive this year as he has been in the past, but he is still the top receiver on his team and an elite talent, so he is worth drafting in the sixth round.
