Tyler Lockett
WR, Seahawks
Tyler Lockett was insanely efficient last year, as Russell Wilson had a PERFECT passer rating when targeting Lockett. He has also been the third most efficient slot receiver in the league over the past two seasons behind only Tyreek Hill and A.J. Green. Now that Doug Baldwin is retired, Lockett is the clear top option for Seattle. In games Bladwin missed, Lockett played in the slot on 59.4% of his snaps, so if he can maintain his efficiency, he will put up very good numbers. D.K. Metcalf is in Seattle, but he is incredibly raw and likely will not be able to contribute much in his rookie season, so expect Lockett to see a major increase in targets. He only had 70 last year and still ended up with 57 catches for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns. If just 25 of Baldwin’s 73 targets from last year go to Lockett and he maintains his current efficiency he would be looking at 77 catches for 1,310 yards and 14 touchdowns. Obviously, it’s unlikely that Lockett maintains such high efficiency but he should still be relatively close and put up great numbers. The only way it seems that Lockett doesn’t see a massive increase in production this year is if he suffers an injury or if D.K. Metcalf is able to play much better than expected. The sky's the limit for Lockett, and he is still very safe as last year's stats are probably his floor with Baldwin now gone.
