Our mock drafts are based on the consensus rankings and predictions amongst the media, not our own rankings, because media consensus is the most accurate predictor of which player each team will draft.

Round 1

1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

Joe Burrow is the obvious choice at first overall, as he is the safest quarterback prospect and has all the tools necessary to become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. There is a chance that the Bengals trade this pick to the Dolphins because Miami has so much capital that they could make an offer the Bengals can’t resist, but it seems unlikely that the Dolphins would part with so much when they will have good quarterback options available when they pick.

2. Washington Redskins: Chase Young, Edge, Ohio State

Chase Young is the best prospect in the draft and is likely to become one of the best young players in the NFL very shortly. The Redskins need a good edge rusher, so there is really no reason for them to not draft Young here because they already drafted a quarterback last year.

3. Detroit Lions: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State

The Lions need a cornerback after trading Darius Slay and Okudah is by far the best available. Detroit has other needs and could go in another direction because there are very good players available that would fit, but Okudah makes the most sense considering that Matt Patricia loves to run press-man coverage, and without an elite press-man cornerback the entire scheme falls apart.

4. New York Giants: Tristan Wirfs, RT/G, Iowa

The Giants badly need help on the offensive line so they can protect their young quarterback and give Saquon Barkley more room to work with. This offense is going to be running through Barkley, so they need to build on their strengths. The Giants need a right tackle since they already have Nate Solder on the left side, so they go with Wirfs over other top tackle prospects because they are more suited to be left tackles.

5. Miami Dolphins: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Miami needs a quarterback to begin building for the future, and if they think Herbert is the guy it would be stupid to weight until their next pick and risk losing him. Though I believe Tua Tagovailoa is the better prospect, his injury concerns are massive and the Dolphins apparently like Herbert almost as much when not considering the tape, so there is no reason for them to risk drafting Tua if they like Herbert so much.

6. Los Angeles Chargers: Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson

The Chargers could go many ways with this pick. First, they could get a quarterback and go for Tua Tagovailoa, but reports out of Los Angeles are that they love Tyrod Taylor and view him as a potential long term option. If they like him that much, there isn’t a reason to take a risk on Tua. Of course, these reports could just be smokescreens to prevent other teams from trying to trade up to take Tua before them, but it seems more likely than not that they are true. Defensive tackle is arguably their biggest need and Derrick Brown can stop the run like they need so he makes a lot of sense. Isaiah Simmons is the best prospect available, however, and he also fills a massive need at linebacker. He is capable of completely transforming the Chargers' defense, so they go with him.

7. Carolina Panthers: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

The Panthers would be ecstatic if a player of Brown’s caliber fell to them and he fills a massive need as the Panthers need a defensive tackle to help improve their run defense, and Brown does just that. He can also be a great interior pass rusher for them, so the guy can completely transform their defensive line. Isaiah Simmons would have been preferable because he is a better prospect and still fills a major need with Luke Kuechly retiring, but he isn't available in this scenario so the Panthers go with Brown.

8. Arizona Cardinals: Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama

The Cardinals addressed their top need by adding DeAndre Hopkins in the offseason and now have an offense filled with talent except for along the offensive line. They need to protect their young quarterback, so they take the best lineman available.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

The Jaguars could look to get Tua Tagovailoa here, but they seem to like Gardner Minshew so there isn’t a reason for them to take that big of a risk when they can get another good player that addresses a massive position of need or even trade this pick to someone looking to get Tua. The Jaguars need a cornerback after losing both Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, and Henderson is the best on the board.

10. Cleveland Browns: Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville

The Browns need a left tackle badly and Becton is the best on the board. If they can improve their protection on Baker Mayfield they can get him back on the right track, so Becton makes a ton of sense here. They could also end up trading this pick to a team looking to trade up for Tua Tagovailoa. The Patriots are a team to watch if he falls this far.

11. New York Jets: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

The Jets could trade this pick, but if they don’t Lamb makes the most sense here. They badly need to get a high quality weapon to try to get Sam Darnold to be the guy he was coming out of college, and Lamb is the best available.

12. Las Vegas Raiders: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

Odds are that a team has traded up and drafted Tua at this point, but if that doesn’t happen the Raiders would be ecstatic to get Tua here. They need a quarterback and he is an elite talent, and with a pick this low he is pretty low risk. If he is available, it’s the easiest choice the Raiders could ever make.

13. San Francisco 49ers: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

The 49ers need wide receivers and Jeudy is the best on the board at this point. They would be very happy to have him fall to them because he can transform their offense. WIth a better receiver the 49ers can become less one dimensional and make a run at the Super Bowl again.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andrew Thomas, OT/G, Georgia

The Buccaneers need to get protection for Tom Brady because one bad hit and he could be done. Thomas gives them just that, and the more time Brady has the more explosive this offense will be with all of their weapons.

15. Denver Broncos: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

The Broncos need a receiver and reportedly want one very badly, as they are considering moving up to get one. If Ruggs is available for them here it would be an easy decision. His speed can completely change their offense.

16. Atlanta Falcons: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina

The Falcons need help on their defense and Kinlaw is by far the best player left on the board. They already have Grady Jarrett but run a 4-3 so both Kinlaw and Jarrett would be able to start and he fills a need because they could use an upgrade for their second defensive tackle.

17. Dallas Cowboys: K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU

The Cowboys could use some help on the defensive line and Chaisson is the best defensive lineman available. They could also look to get a cornerback with this pick but Chaisson is a better prospect than the cornerbacks currently available.

18. Miami Dolphins: Austin Jackson, LT/G, USC

The Dolphins badly need a left tackle after trading Laremy Tunsil and Jackson is the best available. They will need to protect their young quarterback to help ease him into the NFL as best as they can.

19. Las Vegas Raiders: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

The Raiders will have lost out on the top three receivers in the draft since they drafted a quarterback with their first pick, so they go with the top receiver prospect left. If they end up getting a receiver with their first pick this pick will be a different position like linebacker or cornerback.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars: A.J. Epenesa, Edge, Iowa

The Jaguars need an edge rusher after losing Calais Campbell and looking to trade Yannick Ngakoue, so they go with the best available here in A.J. Epenesa.

21. Philadelphia Eagles: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma

The Eagles need weapons but most of the best ones have been drafted by this point, so they go with a linebacker. Though I prefer Patrick Queen, Murray is widely considered to be the better prospect so the Eagles go with him.

22. Minnesota Vikings: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson

The Vikings need a cornerback after parting with Xavier Rhodes and Terrell is widely considered to be the top remaining, though I consider Jaylon Johnson to be better.

23. New England Patriots: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State

The Patriots are reportedly expected to use a premium pick on a quarterback, though that could be a smokescreen. With Justin Jefferson off the board there isn’t a receiver available that fits their offense and the tight ends in this draft aren’t very strong, so the Patriots wouldn’t be able to add a great weapon anyway. Love has a ton of talent but will take some work, but if anyone can fix his problems it’s Bill Belichick. Though they apparently like Jarrett Stidham, it’s better to increase your chances of ending up with a franchise quarterback by having a competition. Belichick has seen what Andy Reid did with Patrick Mahomes and probably thinks he can do the same with a similar talent, and this pick comes at relatively low risk since they are only using a low 1st rounder. There is also a very good chance the Patriots trade up to draft Tua Tagovailoa if he falls. Belichick has a great relationship with Nick Saban and Saban loves Tua, plus Tua fits the Patriots' mold of an incredibly accurate quarterback who makes minimal mistakes. Belichick knows he isn't going to have the chance to draft someone of Tua's talent very often, so he might be willing to give up a lot of draft capital to trade up.

24. New Orleans Saints: Patrick Queen, LB, LSU

The Saints could use a linebacker, and Queen is probably the best player left on the board. He could completely change their defense and put them in a good position to make a run at the Super Bowl.

25. Minnesota Vikings: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

After losing Stefon Diggs the Vikings need a receiver, and Higgins is the best one left on the board. He can give them a deep threat and free up the middle of the field for Adam Thielen to work.

26. Miami Dolphins: D'Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

The Dolphins could use a solid running back to help add another dimension to their offense. They have struggled with running backs in the past and have nobody to rely on. Swift is by far the best running back in the draft so they go with him.

27. Seattle Seahawks: Yetur Gross-Matos, Edge, Penn State

The Seahawks need an edge rusher now that Jadeveon Clowney is almost surely not going to come back. Gross-Matos is the best available and could help to fill the void that Clowney left along the defensive line.

28. Baltimore Ravens: Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin

The Ravens could use a linebacker to help add depth to their front seven and Baun is the best available, so they go with him here.

29. Tennessee Titans: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah

The Titans need a cornerback after parting ways with Logan Ryan and because their starters are pretty injury prone as it is, and Johnson is the best available. He can start on the outside and allow one of them to move inside and make this secondary very good.

30. Green Bay Packers: Joshua Jones, OT, Houston

The packers need a right tackle and Jones has the potential to be very good for them. He might not be able to start right away because he is fairly raw, but eventually he could be one of the steals of the draft.

31. San Francisco 49ers: Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU

The 49ers could use an interior pass rusher to replace DeForest Buckner along the defensive line and Blacklock is fully capable of filling that void. He is one of the best players available.

32. Kansas City Chiefs: Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan

The Chiefs could use a center and Ruiz is by far the best in the draft. He can come in right away and start and should be able to make the Chiefs’ run game that much better, making them even more balanced.

Round 2

33. Cincinnati Bengals: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama

The Bengals have many needs, so it makes sense to go with the best prospect on the board. McKinney also makes a lot of sense because he is so versatile that he can fill multiple needs.

34. Indianapolis Colts: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

The Colts need a cornerback and Fulton is the best on the board, so he can fill the need.

35. Detroit Lions: Marlon Davidson, Edge, Auburn

The Lions need help along the defensive line, and Davidson is the best available. He has the ability to play on the inside and outside so he can help to address multiple needs.

36. New York Giants: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State

The Giants still need help at receiver after getting rid of Odell Beckham Jr. last year and Mims is the best on the board. He can help to give Daniel Jones a playmaker.

37. Los Angeles Chargers: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech

The Chargers need help at linebacker, their biggest weakness, and Brooks is the top available at the position so they go with him.

38. Carolina Panthers: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

The Panthers need a cornerback and Diggs is the best available. He should be able to sure up their secondary.

39. Miami Dolphins: Jeremy Chinn, S, Southern Illinois

The Dolphins have needs at both safety and linebacker, and though Chinn is more of a safety some believe he can also play linebacker. He helps to address both needs, so he is a perfect fit.

40. Houston Texans: Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor

The Texans need receivers after getting rid of DeAndre Hopkins, and Mims is big and fast, making him a great replacement for Hopkins.

41. Cleveland Browns: Grant Delpit, S, LSU

The Browns need help at safety, and Delpit is the best on the board. He will improve their secondary.

42. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Madubuike, DT, Texas A&M

The Jaguars need help along the defensive line and Maduike is the best on the board. If they end up trading Leonard Fournette, Jonathan Taylor would make a lot of sense here.

43. Chicago Bears: Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU

The Bears need a cornerback and Gladney is the best available, so they go with him with this pick.

44. Indianapolis Colts: Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame

The Colts need a tight end and Kmet is by far the best in the draft. Phillip Rivers loves to throw to his tight ends so Kmet can make an instant impact as a receiver for the Colts.

45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin

The Buccaneers need to improve at running back, and Taylor is a home-run hitter who is also capable of powering up the middle so he will add another dimension to this running game.

46. Denver Broncos: Antoine Winfield Jr., S, Minnesota

The Broncos need to add a safety and Winfield Jr. is the best available so they go with him. He can make an instant impact in their secondary.

47. Atlanta Falcons: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU

The Falcons added Todd Gurley but they will need another running back as Gurley isn't capable of handling a full workload anymore, and Edwards-Helaire is perfect. He isn't capable of handling a full workload either and is a great change of pace back. He will have an immediate role for the Falcons.

48. New York Jets: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State

The Jets need a top cornerback, and though Arnette probably isn't going to be a top cornerback yet he will have the chance to become one and is certainly an improvement from their current cornerbacks.

49. Pittsburgh Steelers: Ezra Cleveland, OT, Boise State

The Steelers need to have a tackle ready to take over with multiple of their current tackles ready to hit free agency next year. Cleveland is the best on the board and can be ready to fill in with a year of grooming.

50. Chicago Bears: Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma

The Bears will be looking to improve at quarterback. they already have two options but by adding a third they drastically increase their chances of hitting on at least one of them. At this point the Bears are desperate for a quarterback and it's better to draft Hurts and end up starting someone else than pass on him and watch him become the answer for another team.

51. Dallas Cowboys: Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado

The Cowboys could use a second receiver behind Amari Cooper and Shenault has massive potential. He might not play a large role early but he could ultimately give the Cowboys one of the best receiving cores in the NFL if he pans out.

52. Los Angeles Rams: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State

The Rams need help at running back now that Todd Gurley is gone. Darrell Henderson underwhelmed last year and isn't capable of carrying a full workload, so Dobbins will help ultimately make this running attack much better.

53. Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC

The Eagles need to add receivers and Pittman Jr. is the best receiver available at this point. He will add much needed depth to their receiving core.

54. Buffalo Bills: Logan Wilson, LB, Wyoming

The Bills need to add a linebacker and Wilson is the best on the board, so they go with him.

55. Baltimore Ravens: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

The Ravens could use more weapons to help out Lamar Jackson, and Reagor is the top receiver available so they go with him.

56. Miami Dolphins: Josh Uche, LB, Michigan

The Dolphins need help at linebacker and Uche is the best available, so they go with him.

57. Los Angeles Rams: Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn

The Rams need a cornerback so badly that they are willing to reach a little bit to get Igbinoghene, the best that is still available.

58. Minnesota Vikings: Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne

The Vikings could use help at safety, so they go with Dugger, an athletic freak with tons of upside.

59. Seattle Seahawks: Lloyd Cushenberry, C, LSU

The Seahawks could use a better center and Cushenberry can be a very solid starter instantly for them.

60. Baltimore Ravens: Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic

The Ravens could use a better second tight end now that they've traded Hayden Hurst and Bryant is capable of being a solid option on day 1.

61. Tennessee Titans: Willie Gay, LB, Mississippi State

The Titans need help at linebacker and Gay is the best available so they go with him.

62. Green Bay Packers: K.J. Hamler, WR, Penn State

The Packers could use some more weapons other than Davante Adams, so they go with Hamler, an explosive playmaker who can make an impact as a gadget player and has potential to develop into a Tyreek Hill-type threat.

63. Kansas City Chiefs: Cam Akers, RB, Florida State

The Chiefs could use another running back to help with Damien Williams, who isn't a workhorse. Akers provides another option who can help to balance the Chiefs' offense.

64. Seattle Seahawks: Jordan Elliott, DT, Missouri

The Seahawks could use help along the defensive line and Elliott is the best option available, so they go with him.

Round 3

65. Cincinnati Bengals: Malik Harrison, LB, Ohio State

The Bengals need a linebacker and Harrison is the best available. He is a little bit of a reach at this pick so they could consider trading down and picking him later.

66. Washington Redskins: Robert Hunt, OT, Louisiana-Lafayette

The Redskins need help at tackle with Trent Williams wanting to leave, so they take Hunt here as a guy who could fill in if necessary.

67. Detroit Lions: Saahdiq Charles, OT, LSU

The Lions have a horrible offensive line and could stand to improve it, so they take Charles, the best offensive lineman on the board.

68. New York Jets: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia

The Jets need a left tackle and Wilson is the best on the board, so they go with him here.

69. Carolina Panthers: Matt Hennessy, C, Temple

The Panthers need help along the interior of their offensive line and Hennessy is the best interior offensive lineman available. Though the Panthers are in more need of a guard, Hennessy gives them more flexibility and can improve their center situation, as they have an aging, declining veteran starting in Matt Paradis.

70. Miami Dolphins: Van Jefferson, WR, Florida

The Dolphins could use some more weapons to help out their young quarterback so they go with Jefferson here.

71. Los Angeles Chargers: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington

The Chargers still need a quarterback to develop at this point in the draft after passing on one with their top two picks, so they go with Eason here. He will take time to develop but the Chargers love Tyrod Taylor so it isn’t a major issue. Eason has a great arm and could eventually take over as the Chargers’ quarterback of the future.

72. Arizona Cardinals: Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma

The Cardinals need to add more players to their defensive line, as it was horrible last year, so they go with Gallimore who is the best available.

73. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ben Bartch, OT, St. John's (Minn.)

The Jaguars have had a below average offensive line for many years and could add some depth. Bartch is a little bit of a reach at this pick but they are desperate for lineman.

74. Cleveland Browns: Bradlee Anae, Edge, Utah

The Browns have Larry Ogunjobi and Olivier Vernon hitting the market next year so they could look to add some depth behind them to groom to eventually take over. They go with Anae here, the best defensive lineman left on the board.

75. Indianapolis Colts: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia

The Colts could use a young quarterback to groom behind Phillip Rivers and eventually take over as the starter, and Fromm could end up being that guy, so they take him here.

76. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ashtyn Davis, S, California

The Buccaneers badly need help in the secondary so they slightly reach and take Davis here.

77. Denver Broncos: Reggie Robinson, CB, Tulsa

The Broncos need cornerback help so they go with Robinson, the best on the board.

78. Atlanta Falcons: Amik Robertson, CB, Louisiana Tech

The Falcons need help at cornerback, so they go with Robertson who is the best available.

79. New York Jets: Akeem Davis-Gaither, LB, Appalachian State

The Jets need a linebacker so they slightly reach and take Davis-Gaither here to fill the need.

80. Las Vegas Raiders: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame

The Raiders already took a receiver but Claypool is too good to pass up this late in the draft for a team that still has a need. He has an elite combination of size and speed and has the potential to become a great receiver.

81. Las Vegas Raiders: Josiah Scott, CB, Michigan State

The Raiders need help at cornerback so they go with the best available in Scott. This way they spent one of their two back-to-back picks on need and the other on the best player available.

82. Dallas Cowboys: John Reid, CB, Penn State

The Cowboys are in need or a cornerback now that Byron Jones has left so they go with Reid to help fill his shoes.

83. Denver Broncos: Davion Taylor, LB, Colorado

The Broncos need a linebacker so they go with Taylor, the best available.

84. Los Angeles Rams: Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas

The Rams could use a receiver after getting rid of Brandin Cooks so they go with another speedster to help replace him in Duvernay.

85. Detroit Lions: Darrynton Evans, RB, Appalachian State

The Lions need help at running back with Kerryon Johnson having injury concerns so they go with Evans here, the best available.

86. Buffalo Bills: Curtis Weaver, Edge, Boise State

The Bills have two edge rushers on the older side and will need to infuse some talent, so they go with Weaver to help do so.

87. New England Patriots: Adam Trautman, TE, Dayton

The Patriots need a tight end very badly, and Trautman perfectly fits their system in that regard. He is a Y tight end that can serve as a safety blanket for whomever starts for them this year.

88. New Orleans Saints: James Lynch, Edge, Baylor

The Saints could use help along the defensive line, so they go with Lynch here.

89. Minnesota Vikings: Darell Taylor, Edge, Tennessee

The Vikings need help along the defensive line so they go with Taylor, the best available.

90. Houston Texans: Damien Lewis, G, LSU

The Texans’ offensive line is horrendous so they look to improve it by adding Lewis.

91. Las Vegas Raiders: Hakeem Hadeniji, G, Kansas

The Raiders need help along the offensive line so they decide to go with Hadeniji here, a very versatile player who can fill in wherever he needs to.

92. Baltimore Ravens: Cameron Clark, G, Charlotte

The Ravens need help at guard after Marshal Yanda retired, so they go with Clark to help fill the void left by the future Hall of Famer.

93. Tennessee Titans: Davon Hamilton, DT, Ohio State

The Titans could use some help along the defensive line so they go with Hamilton, the best available, here.

94. Green Bay Packers: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

The Packers need a cornerback so they go with the best available in Hall.

95. Denver Broncos: Lynn Bowden Jr., WR, Kentucky

Even after drafting Henry Ruggs III the Broncos could use help at receiver, particularly in the slot, so they take Bowden Jr. here to fill that role.

96. Kansas City Chiefs: Terrell Lewis, Edge, Alabama

The Chiefs could use help along the edge so they go with Lewis here to help add some depth.

97. Cleveland Browns: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty

The Browns could use some depth at receiver and currently lack a big target, so they go with the 6’ 4’’ Gandy-Golden to fill that role.

98. New England Patriots: John Hightower, WR, Boise State

The Patriots need to add weapons and Hightower is by far the best receiver available. He can help to add much needed depth and production to a receiving core that was horrendous last season.

99. New York Giants: Terrell Burgess, S, Utah

The Giants could use help at safety so they go with Burgess here, who is the best available. He and Jabrill Peppers can make a solid duo.

100. New England Patriots: Jonathan Greenard, Edge, Florida

The Patriots need help on the edge, and Greenard has great upside as an athletic and intelligent edge rusher who seems to fit their system very well.

101. Seattle Seahawks: Zach Moss, RB, Utah

The Seahawks need running back depth after what happened to them last year when they lost all of their running backs by the playoffs. Moss is more than capable of filling in if something like that were to happen again and when Chris Carson hits free agency next year.

102. Pittsburgh Steelers: Grayland Arnold, CB, Baylor

The Steelers need help at cornerback so they decide to go with Arnold, the best available, here to help fill that void.

103. Philadelphia Eagles: Brandon Jones, S, Texas

The Eagles need help at safety after Malcolm Jenkins left and Jones is the best on the board so they go with him.

104. Los Angeles Rams: Shaquille Quarterman, LB, Miami (Fla.)

The Rams need to add some depth at linebacker so they go with Quarterman here.

105. Minnesota Vikings: Kindle Vildor, CB, Georgia Southern

The Vikings lost all three of their cornerbacks from last year so they still need help even after using a first round pick on a corner so they slightly reach and take Vildor here.

106. Baltimore Ravens: Julian Okwara, Edge, Notre Dame

The Ravens could use some depth on the edge, especially if the end of trading Matthew Judon, so they go with Okwara here.
