Elijah Moore is an undersized, versatile slot receiver who should be able to make a big impact in the NFL. He is very fast for the slot, with a 40 time in the 4.3s. Moore is very small (5’ 9’’), but he is very tough and is capable of taking big hits. He is very quick, making him a great route runner and also elite after the catch. Moore has been productive downfield as well, as he has the speed to get open and is capable of catching the ball over the top and has very good hands. Moore has also shown the ability to line up in the backfield and receive handoffs as a running back. He hits the hole fast and can make defenders miss. Every time Moore touches the ball he’s a threat to take it to the house, and that’s a great skill to have as a slot receiver. Moore has a phenomenal all-around skillset and was insanely productive in college (he had the 2nd most yards in the nation despite going up against SEC opponents), but he’s still likely to go in the second round, and that’s almost entirely because of his size. Few 5’ 9’’ players can become more than slot receivers, but Moore seems different. He projects as an elite route runner with great long speed and top tier hands on the next level. He is also more physical than the typical 5’ 9’’ receiver. Moore looks like the type of player who can succeed both in the slot and on the outside despite a small size, similar to Antonio Brown and Steve Smith. Overall, Elijah Moore is an underrated player who could end up being one of the steals of the draft. He has the upside to become a Pro Bowl caliber WR1 who lines up all over the field.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 95.4
