Ja’Marr Chase is incredibly well-rounded as a receiver and should make an immediate impact on the next level. Chase is capable of playing both outside and in the slot. He’s an elite route runner with incredible hands that allow him to catch the ball in traffic. Despite being only 6 feet tall, Chase is able to consistently win 50-50 balls. He’s a monster after the catch, as he possesses the strength, speed, and agility necessary to make defenders miss and take it to the house. Chase isn’t a burner like Tyreek Hill, but he is very fast and will be able to outrun many defenders. Chase looks very similar to Odell Beckham because he is fast but not a burner, able to win 50-50 balls despite being smaller than the typical jump ball type of receiver, is an elite route runner, can catch the ball in traffic, and is phenomenal after the catch. Chase has the opportunity to break records in his time in the pros, as he was the best receiver on an offense that featured Justin Jefferson, who just broke the rookie record for receiving yards with 1,400 on the year. Expect great things out of him.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 97
