Jamar Johnson is a versatile player with the instincts and ball skills to play both safety and in the slot. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Johnson also has a great football IQ, which helps him make plays on the ball. He’s a willing tackler, but is somewhat raw in that area and will need to develop. He needs more patience in run pursuit and has to clean up his technique as a tackler. Johnson has average top-end speed, which may lead to him giving up a few big plays. Overall Jamar Johnson is a good player with the versatility to line up all over the field, so he should be able to develop into a solid starter in the NFL.
