Jaylen Waddle is a smaller receiver with exceptional speed and agility. He is fast enough to run by defenders even when given a cushion and can get into his second and third gear when downfield.Waddle’s acceleration allows him to get by defenders in an instant. He is able to track the ball downfield as well. Waddle doesn’t have incredible hands, but they have steadily improved over time and he is still reliable enough to get the job done. In addition to being great downfield, Waddle’s agility and elusiveness make him phenomenal after the catch, as he’s a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. Waddle is also one of the best kickoff and punt returners we’ve ever seen entering the draft. Overall, Waddle looks exactly like Tyreek Hill and is capable of destroying defenses in a variety of ways. He has the chance to be an elite wide receiver in a role similar to Hill’s.
