Kwity Paye is a relatively raw prospect, but he has the upside to develop into an elite pass rusher in the NFL. He has a great frame and is incredibly explosive out of his stance. Paye has the versatility to play anywhere on the defensive line, including the outside and at defensive tackle. He has played best on the outside, but a team looking for a pure pass rusher on the interior may prefer to put Paye on the inside. Paye has strong, violent hands that can push defenders out of his way. Paye’s biggest weaknesses are that he tends to take short steps and he can be inconsistent at times. As he continues to develop, those issues should go away, however. Against the run, Paye overpowers tight ends on the outside and has the speed to quickly bring the ball carrier down. Overall, Kwity Paye is a very strong player with incredible usps, but he will take time to develop.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 95
