Kyle Pitts is probably the best receiving tight end we’ve ever seen coming out of college. He is massive, coming in at 6’ 6’’, but is still incredibly fast. Pitts ran a 4.44 40 yard dash, which is almost unheard of for a tight end, especially one of his size. He also has the wingspan of someone over 7 feet tall, giving him an enormous catch radius. Pitts has the route running abilities of a wideout, and that combined with his size and speed makes him practically undefendable. Pitts is capable of lining up anywhere on the field; some even say that he could switch to receiver full-time and look like a poor-man's Calvin Johnson. The one area Pitts isn’t dominant is blocking, but he isn’t atrocious by any means. Pitts also improved his blocking last year, so that isn’t enough of a red flag to overshadow his capabilities as a receiver. Overall, Kyle Pitts is an incredible athlete who has Hall of Fame potential.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 97.9
