Michael Carter is an undersized running back with phenomenal agility who is a very good receiver out of the backfield. Carter is an incredibly smooth runner who is able to piece together a variety of moves with complete ease. He is able to withstand contact at times, but with his lack of size, it’ll be hard for Carter to do that consistently in the NFL. Carter has good but not great speed. He has the burst to beat defenders to the edge and can hit some home-runs, but he isn’t the fastest running back. As a receiver, Carter is a very good option. He flashes the lateral quickness to create separation when running routes and has solid hands. Carter’s biggest issue is his lack of size, which will make it hard for him to be a full-time RB1. He could, however, be the top player in a committee, and because of that, Carter should be a productive starter.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: N/A
