Trevon Moehrig is an incredible safety in pass coverage with the versatility to play all over the field. He has good height, weight, and speed and phenomenal instincts. Moehrig excels in man coverage as well as zone coverage. He can line up as a slot cornerback and cover bigger targets if necessary. Moehrig is best suited to play free safety in the NFL, as his incredible instincts will allow him to shine. He has good hands and always seems to put himself in the right position to make a play on the ball, but Moehrig has dropped a few picks here and there. Moehrig is decent against the run, but that is easily his biggest weakness. He is an average tackler and tends to take bad angles when pursuing runners. He did show improvement in run support last year, however. Overall, Trevon Moehrig is a chess piece who can play all over the field in a variety of different coverages, and he should be a good starter early in his career.

Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 94.36
