Wyatt Davis
G/C, Ohio State
Draft Projection: Rounds 2-4
NFL Comparison: Kevin Zeitler
Wyatt Davis is a monster in the run game, as he has good size and incredible strength. He is able to overwhelm defenders on inside runs. In the pass game, it’s a different story. Davis reacts late to blitzes and struggles against speed rushers, which has caused some major problems in pass protection. He gave up sacks in each of his first two games of the season, which is very bad for an interior lineman. Davis has the upside to improve in pass protection, however, as he is plenty big and strong. Many view Davis as a guard, but he has the versatility to play center if necessary. With some good coaching, Davis could become a force to be reckoned with on the interior of the offensive line.
Analytics-Based Prospect Grade: 91.47
