Anthony Firkser

TE, Titans

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Anthony Firkser is the TE1 for the Titans now that Jonnu Smith is gone. Firkser was productive enough last year to think that he should be able to become a solid option. He had 39 catches for 387 yards and 1 touchdown last season. With Jonnu Smith and his 65 targets gone, Firkser should see an uptick in volume, especially in the red zone. If you combined Smith and Firkser's numbers last year, you would get 80 catches for 835 yards and 9 touchdowns. Those would be high-end TE1 numbers. With the addition of Julio Jones, however, Firsker will probably be the third option, so he still won’t see typical TE1 volume, especially with Derrick Henry still in the backfield. Julio will take most of the targets that had been given to Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis, so Firkser won't be able to see a massive increase in volume. He should be good enough to be a TE2 and possible streaming option, however, with the upside to be a TE1 if Brown or Jones gets hurt (which is a possibility given the fact that each of them are coming off of serious injuries).
