Calvin Ridley
WR, Falcons
Calvin Ridley had a breakout season, and now that Julio Jones is gone he looks like he could become an elite fantasy receiver. In the 7 games that Julio missed last year, Ridley had 50 catches for 823 yards and 3 touchdowns. That ends up being 114 catches for 1,881 yards and 7 touchdowns over the course of a 16-game season. Those numbers would make him the WR3 in standard behind only Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams and the WR2 in PPR behind only Davante Adams. The Falcons brought in Kyler Pitts, but rookie tight ends tend to struggle, so he won’t take a ton of work away from Ridley. Pitts will probably make Ridley even more productive because he will draw attention away from Ridley while not taking a ton of targets. Overall, Calvin Ridley is seemingly in the perfect position and looks like he is going to take another jump this year. He will in all likelihood become a star WR1 with all the upside in the world, so he is worth drafting in the second round.
