Chris Godwin
WR, Buccaneers
Chris Godwin had a solid year, but his upside is capped because the Buccaneers have so many good weapons and they won’t need to pass the ball a ton since they will almost always be winning. Godwin will be able to put up solid, consistent numbers for your team, though. In Godwin’s last eight games of the season (these are the most predictive of next year because Antonio Brown was playing), he had 40 catches for 561 yards and 5 touchdowns. That’s 80 receptions for 1,122 yards and 10 touchdowns over the course of 16 games. Godwin doesn’t have many monster games with 100+ yards and multiple touchdowns (he only had one game with over 100 yards last year and only one game with multiple touchdowns), but he will be a consistent player. Overall, Chris Godwin isn’t very flashy and doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he’s a solid WR2 with a high floor and he puts up underrated touchdown numbers.
