Dak Prescott

QB, Cowboys

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Dak Prescott was incredible last year until he got hurt. If you exclude the game in which he got hurt, Dak averaged 34.25 points per game last year. It’s a very small sample size of only four games, but had Dak sustained those numbers for an entire season, he’d be the QB1 and have the best quarterback fantasy season ever. Dak was on track for 6,760 passing yards, 36 passing touchdowns, 236 rushing yards, and 12 rushing touchdowns. Once again, that’s a very small sample size and there’s no way Dak would’ve been able to sustain those numbers for a whole year, but this just shows how good he was. Dak took a jump in play because he was playing with easily the best offense in the NFL. The Cowboys have Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup as their receivers along with Ezekiel Elliott at running back and a very good offensive line now that they’re healthy. Zeke is a former rushing champ who has also had a 77 catch season, Cooper and Gallup have both been 1,000 yard receivers, and Lamb is a rising star who was on track to have a record-breaking rookie season before Dak got hurt. With Lamb likely to take a step forward as he enters his second year, Dak Prescott will have all the help in the world. For that reason, he’s an elite fantasy quarterback that should go in the top-5 amongst quarterbacks.
