Davante Adams
WR, Packers
Now that Aaron Rodgers is back, Davante Adams is without a doubt the top receiver in fantasy. The dude just had EIGHTEEN receiving touchdowns with 115 catches and 1,374 yards in only 14 games. If you get rid of Week 2 when Adams got hurt and missed a portion of the game, he had 112 catches for 1,338 yards and 18 touchdowns in 13 games. That's 139 catches for 1,647 yards and 22 touchdowns over the course of 16 games. Those numbers are almost unheard of. Adams has incredible chemistry with Aaron Rodgers and is the Packers’ top option in the red zone. In addition to his incredible touchdown upside, Adams catches a ton of passes. He had 115 catches last year and has had over 100 catches in the last two seasons in which he’s played 14 games or more. The Packers didn’t bring any real threat to take a large share of Davante Adams’s targets, as the only receiver they drafted was Amari Rodgers in the third round. A third round rookie will take time to develop and Rodgers is more of a slot receiver, so he won’t eat into Adams’s workload. The same goes for Randall Cobb, who has always been at his best in the slot. Davante Adams is on a mission to get a high-paying contract as well, so he’ll be extra motivated to go out and have an incredible year. Overall. Davante Adams is as safe as they come and is a threat to have one of the best fantasy seasons ever at the wide receiver position.
