DeAndre Hopkins

WR, Cardinals

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

DeAndre Hopkins had a great season last year with 115 receptions for 1,407 yards and 6 touchdowns. Hopkins seems primed to have an even better year this upcoming season for a couple reasons. First of all, Hopkins should continue to build chemistry with Kyler Murray and adjust to the Cardinals offense as he enters his second year with the team. Hopkins also saw a drop in production after Kyler Murray got hurt last year. Though Murray was still playing, he wasn’t as good as he was before the injury. In Hopkins’s first 10 games he averaged 18.2 PPR points per game compared to 16.5 PPR points per game in his last six games. In addition, Hopkins has an easy schedule this year. Aside from his two games against the Rams and Jalen Ramsey, Hopkins won’t be going up against a truly elite cornerback this year. Overall, DeAndre Hopkins is a lock to be an elite fantasy receiver if he stays healthy, so he’s worth drafting in the second round.

Standard Analytics-Based Projected Points: 171.5
