Ezekiel Elliott

RB, Cowboys

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Ezekiel Elliott had a bad year, but he was great with Dak Prescott on the field. In the five games that Dak played, Zeke had 537 yards from scrimmage, 24 catches, and 6 total touchdowns. That would be 1,718 yards from scrimmage, 77 catches, and 19 touchdowns over the course of a 16-game season, which would make him the RB4 in fantasy. Once Dak was off the field, defenses didn’t need to worry about stopping the pass, so they could load the box to stop Zeke. That’s why he wasn’t performing; Zeke is far from washed. The offensive line was also dealing with a ton of injuries which made things even worse. Zeke has never been the type of player to create for himself. He needs good blocking and a good all-around offense to succeed. Dak will be back and the offensive line will be healthy next year, so Zeke should return to form. Zeke doesn’t have the same ceiling as Christian McCaffrey, Dalvin Cook and he doesn’t have the floor of Derrick Henry, so he shouldn’t go before any of them, but he’s a good pick at 4.
