James Robinson
RB, Jaguars
James Robinson is in a much better position to succeed now that Travis Etienne is likely out for the entire season. Prior to Etienne's injury, Robinson looked like he would be in a three running back committee and wouldn't be catching any passes. He simply wasn't going to see enough volume to be a good fantasy option. With Etienne out, however, Robinson is the RB1 for the Jaguars. He isn't going to do what he did last year, however, because of the fact that the Jaguars want to use multiple running backs. Robinson was productive last season because he saw 90% of the Jaguars' backfield touches last year. The Jaguars made plenty of moves this offseason to prevent Robinson from having that much work two years in a row. They obviously drafted Travis Etienne but they also signed Carlos Hyde. Hyde will play a role in this offense and will take a lot of Robinson's work from last year. Add in the fact that James Robinson is in a horrendous offense and he doesn't seem to be an RB1 heading into the 2021 season.
