Josh Allen

QB, Bills

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Josh Allen should be the second quarterback drafted, with only Patrick Mahomes going before him. Allen has incredible upside and put that on display last year. His combination of an elite arm, great weapons, and fantastic rushing production make Allen a great fantasy option with the upside to finish as fantasy’s QB1. The addition of Stefon Diggs took Josh Allen to another level throwing the football. He went from 3,000 passing yards to 4,500 passing yards and from 20 passing touchdowns to 37 passing touchdowns last year. Allen’s completion percentage also skyrocketed from a poor 58.8% to an incredible 69.2%. Given how raw Josh Allen was coming out of college, he should only continue to improve this year and will build even better chemistry with Stefon Diggs. Add on the fact that Allen is one of the league’s best rushing quarterbacks, and it’s tough to find many better options. Allen has had at least 400 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns in each of his three seasons. The one potential concern about Allen is that he’s only been good for one year and seems likely to regress. Overall, Josh Allen is a slam-dunk pick at quarterback and won’t disappoint this year.

Analytics-Based Projected Points: 411.4
