Noah Fant
TE, Broncos
Noah Fant is an incredibly talented player, but he has failed to become a top fantasy tight end in his young career. Last year Fant had 62 catches for 673 yards and 3 touchdowns in 15 games (66 catches for 718 yards and 3 touchdowns over the course of an entire season). Those are solid numbers, except for the touchdowns. Fant is a big player and should be scoring a lot more in the red zone, but he only has 6 total touchdowns in his career. He simply hasn’t been getting targeted in the red zone, with only 6.3% of his career targets coming in or near the end zone. The Broncos have a lot of weapons and a bad quarterback situation, which might explain why Fant hasn’t scored a lot. Fant’s talent gives him solid upside despite the fact that nothing has changed, but for the time being, he should be viewed as a streaming tight end or TE2. If Fant finds a way to score more often, he’ll make his way back into the TE1 conversation.
