Tyler Higbee

TE, Rams

1200px-U+25CB.svg.png

Tyler Higbee is in a better position to succeed this year. Matthew Stafford is an upgrade at quarterback and, more importantly, Gerald Everett has left the Rams. That makes Higbee the top tight end in this offense with little competition for targets. Higbee failed to build on his late-2019 breakout and ended up being a bust in fantasy last season, but if you combine his production with Gerald Everett’s production from last year, you would get 85 catches for 938 yards and 6 touchdowns. Those are close to elite numbers. Higbee wasn’t able to establish a consistent target share last year, however, so it seems more likely that Everett’s leftover volume will end up being spread out amongst the offense rather than Higbee taking all of it. Nonetheless, Tyler Higbee has great upside as the Rams’ TE1, but he still has a pretty low floor because it’s hard to predict how much of Gerald Everett’s volume Higbee will end up getting.
