Chargers at Raiders
The Chargers finally appear to be on the right path after beating the Packers last week, but they need to have more good games to prove they are back to last year's form.b The Raiders are going to be a tough matchup for the Chargers, as Oakland appears to be in the playoff discussion. The Chargers have been too inconsistent this year to pick them to beat a Raiders team that has been very impressive, especially with Oakland being at home.
Prediction: Raiders 27, Chargers 24
Giants at Jets
Both the Giants and the Jets have been incredibly inconsistent this year, as both have shown the ability to win against very good teams but also lose to horrible ones. Because of this, the game could legitimately go either way. Neither team is at home because both teams are from New York, so neither has an advantage. The Giants have been better this year so they should be able to win this game.
Prediction: Giants 24, Jets 17
Falcons at Saints
The Saints are looking like a top 3 team this year and the Falcons have been absolutely horrendous even though they have a ton of talent. The Saints are also at home, so they should be able to win this game very easily. The Saints are due to lose a game, however, so there is a small chance Atlanta pulls off a massive upset because New Orleans could have a bad game.
Prediction: Saints 28, Falcons 14
Chiefs at Titans
Patrick Mahomes is back so the Chiefs will be looking to get back on track and possibly make a run to get a high playoff seed. The Titans have been mediocre this year but have shown flashes of being a great team. Patrick Mahomes will not be 100% and the Chiefs didn't look too great even with him on the field. The Chiefs defense is a major problem, making them susceptible to lose any game they play. That being said, Kansas City's offense is very good so the Chiefs should be able to win this game, but don't be surprised if the Titans get a big upset.
Prediction: Chiefs 34, Titans 28
Ravens at Bengals
The Ravens are one of the best teams in the league and the Bengals are probably the league's worst. This game is not going to be close because the Ravens simply outmatch the Bengals in every way possible. Baltimore will continue to roll after beating the Patriots.
Prediction: Ravens 41, Bengals 10
Bills at Browns
The Bills have a good record this year but they haven't beaten anyone good or had any impressive victories. The Browns are now in a do-or-die situation. If they lose another game something will need to change. Cleveland has too much talent to lose this many games in a row, so the Browns should finally be able to get a win here.
Prediction: Browns 24, Bills 21
Cardinals at Buccaneers
Both the Cardinals and the Buccaneers have been incredibly inconsistent this year. At times both have looked like they could keep up with some of the league's best teams and at other times they both look like some of the worst teams in the league. Because of this, the advantage instantly goes to the home team, so the Buccaneers should be able to win in a close game.
Prediction: Buccaneers 34, Cardinals 31
Lions at Bears
The Bears have been underwhelming this year and the Lions have been better than expected but Matthew Stafford is going to miss this game. This gives the Bears a massive advantage, and coupled with the fact that Chicago is playing at home, Detroit will have a very hard time moving the ball. Mitchell Trubisky will struggle, but the Bears should be able to get some turnovers and put the offense in good field position, so they will score enough to get a win.
Prediction: Bears 21, Lions 7
Dolphins at Colts
The Colts will be without Jacoby Brissett in this game, which gives the Dolphins a chance to pull off the upset. Miami has improved as of lately after looking like one of the worst teams of all time at the beginning of the year. That being said, the Colts should have enough talent to get the win without Brissett, especially with the game being at home.
Prediction: Colts 21, Dolphins 14
Panthers at Packers
The Packers are looking to get back on track after a horrible loss to the Chargers while the Panthers are looking to stay in the playoff discussion. It is supposed to snow during this game, which gives the advantage to the Panthers because they are better at running the ball. Even with that advantage the Panthers likely will not win this game because Green Bay has been a better team this year and has a massive advantage at quarterback. Also, Aaron Jones is more than capable of carrying the team if necessary. The Packers should win in a close game.
Prediction: Packers 28, Panthers 24
Rams at Steelers
Both the Rams and the Steelers have been disappointments this year. The main difference is that both teams appear to be trending in opposite directions. The Steelers have been improving each week while the Rams appear to be getting worse. Jared Goff has been horrible without an elite running game. Cooper Kupp has been their main source of offense. Throw in the fact that the Steelers are at home and they have a legitimate chance to win this game. This game will be very close, but the Steelers appear to have a slight advantage.
Prediction: Steelers 21, Rams 17
Vikings at Cowboys
Both the Vikings and the Cowboys have been good this year, but Dallas hasn't been able to beat any really good teams. The Vikings have an incredible run game and will be able to control the clock even without Adam Thielen. The Cowboys will also be able to move the ball well. This will be a close game, but at the end of the day Dallas has had far too many issues to be confident picking them to win this game.
Prediction: Vikings 31, Cowboys 28
Seahawks at 49ers
So far this year the 49ers have been a much better team than the Seahawks. Seattle has been incredibly inconsistent and hasn't beaten any really good teams this year. That being said, the 49ers are due to lose a game, and Seattle is still a very good team and a divisional opponent. Though San Francisco is a better team and should be more successful down the line, Seattle should win simply because the 49ers are bound to drop a game soon.
